MUN Conferences for High School Students 2023
The Leaflet “German Model United Nations Conferences for High School Students” offers an overview (updated May 2010).
Baltic Model United Nations (BALMUN)
The first Baltic Model United Nations conference was held in 2008. It had been initiated by students from Innerstädtisches Gymnasium Rostock (ISG). About one hundred participants from many different countries followed the invitation and have experienced an interesting and personal conference.
After this successful event the ISG decided to hold annual conferences in the beautiful Hanseatic city of Rostock. Currently it is and should remain a summit organized by high school students for fellow students. By doing that the BALMUN-Team seeks to retain personal contact between the participants. Besides offering real UN-procedures and fascinating MUN-experiences BALMUN enables an intercultural exchange among a growing number of international participants by having rather small committees and interesting get-togethers. With the support of many experienced MUN-students from all around Europe we were able to realize this idea and we will be delighted to uphold this event for the Baltic region.

International School of Stuttgart MUN (MUNISS)
In 2015, MUNISS is proud to host its 8th instalment of its conference in Stuttgart, Germany. It will take place from the 16ht to the 19th of April in 2015. This year around, we will be concentrating on the South- and South East Asian region as a central theme. We host our conference partly on conference, partly at a conference centre in the Stuttgart region. Most importantly we cater to a wide range of debating skills, setting different committees at different levels, thus fostering speaking opportunities for every debating-type. Furthermore, we cater to delegates from 14 years up.
The conference is completely student run and organised. We provide housing for the first delegations to apply to our conference and require a small additional fee for housing in a youth hostel. The conference runs from Thursday morning to Sunday afternoon, allowing for enough time for delegations to depart on the Sunday the conference ends.

Schulfarm Insel Scharfenberg Model United Nations (SISMUN)
